Forest Gate CLC currently has 4 members of teaching and support staff.

DIANE MAYERS

CITY LEARNING CENTRE MANAGER

Bio: Diane has been the CLC manager since it opened in 2000 in Forest Gate School. She had worked previously in the Newham Local Authority originally as a science teacher and then later as ICT Co-ordinator and Head of ICT in a local 11-18 school.
She has been involved in education for 30 years working with KS2-5 and adults, also within teacher training in two London universities and ICT school inspection the inner city Chicago.

CHRISTIAN JACKSON

IT Manager, Vocational & Cisco Academy Instructor & BSF Consultant

Bio: Christian has been working at the City Learning Centre since its birth in 2000. Christian started with the primary objective of looking after all the technology and new innovations, but his career advanced when he trained as a Cisco Instructor.
Christian is now qualified to teach Comptia A+, Cisco CCNA, Wireless (WLANFE), and CCSP Security courses – which also work well with the 14-19 Additional Provision Diplomas.

Christian also manages the Cisco Academy Programme in Newham that allows schools to run their own academy with local support and with less expence.

Christian has also recently completed his Apple ACSA Training and provides support services to schools requiring Apple Technical assistance and AD Intergrations and Deployment Solutions.

JUDITH JAKES

:

Bio: Judith Covers a wide range of educational specialisms in the following areas and is an accredited trainer for Imersive Education, Matchware, Fronter (London MLE), ADE Apple Distinguished Educator, RM, and Learning Central.

Judith is available at the CLC or for out reach, if funding for her is not available from the CLC she can also be hired at cost from us.
